For what i read in the MSIN information page, to be accepted you need to have a degree average of 14 at least, and they don't say anithing about the cost of each year... i suspect that the price is... high!

All knowledge, in my opinion, is important, but of course i think that most of you would agree that experience in the field is in most of the times, more important in relation to a Master degree or a PhD.

Fortunatly (or not) i'm not able to enter in MSIN (for now, MIECT comes first), but if those that are now in the course, get all the experience that MSIN promotes in the webpage, maybe i will think twice when i graduate.

So, after I complete Mestrado Integrado, would I be elligible for MSIN?
Wouldn't a Phd be more important for my (academic or not) career?

Well it doesn't :)

"Mestrado Integrado" gives you the basic engineering tool (before the Bologne Process this would be simply a "Licenciatura").

MSIN on the other hand goes way beyond basic concepts, and it is not an academic (as in theoretic) degree. It prepares professionals for the market therefore it's partnership with companies such as Portugal Telecom and Nokia Siemens Networks.

MSIN is highly technical, with a strong emphasis into practical work and projects and highly demanding.

I recommended it to any "Mestrado Integrado" student finishing it's degree, that would like to have 2 more years to get better technical skills

How does MSIN relate with Mestrado Integrado? Are they the same graduation level?
